When you connect Docusign to Nomio, documents signed in Docusign will be uploaded to Nomio automatically.

How to Connect

First, let’s generate a Secret Key in Docusign: this will allow Nomio to check whether the messages it receives are genuine.

  1. From your Docusign Settings, go to Connect:

Connect is in the Integrations section of your Docusign Settings.

  2. Go to **Connect Keys:**

Connect Keys is in the set of tabs at the top of the Connect page.

Make a note of the full key — you’ll only be able to see it once.

Add Secret Key will generate a new key to use. Make sure you copy the full key somewhere safe — we’ll need it to verify your documents with Docusign.

  4. Send us the full Secret Key that you just created, so we can get you set up on Nomio.

Next, you need to tell Docusign to send Nomio a message whenever a document has been fully signed:

  1. From your Docusign Settings, go to Connect (as above).

  2. Select Add Configuration, then Custom:

  3. Leave everything as default, except for…

    Name Nomio
    URL to Publish **https://region.nomio.com/org/import/docusign**
    where…
region should be app (UK), us or eu.
org is the identifier for your organisation in Nomio.

You can find both by logging into Nomio and looking at the URL. For example, https://app.nomio.com/infinity/agreements. | | Trigger Events | • In Envelope and Recipients, select Envelope Signed/Completed In Envelope and Recipients, in Include Data, select Documents | | Integration and Security Settings | Select Include HMAC Signature |

    …then, select Add Configuration.

By default, all signed documents from all users will be sent to Nomio (and will be accepted as long as they have a Nomio user account). You can change this behaviour with the Associated Users/Groups section.

To make sure the integration is working correctly, let’s sign a test document in Docusign and ensure it goes to Nomio!

  1. Make sure that Nomio has added your Secret Key from earlier.
  2. In Docusign Agreeements, go to Start → Envelopes → Send an Envelope and follow the instructions to send a document to yourself.
